Hannah Smethurst

Member

Hannah Smethurst is a Scottish-based legal researcher. Having completed both English and Scottish LLBs, and an LLM in Innovation, Technology and the Law at the University of Edinburgh, she now works as a research assistant and tutor on matters such as surveillance, privacy, and data protection. She is currently researching COVID-19 technologies at Newcastle Law School. Hannah has also spoken at various conferences and workshops on these topics, including GikII 2020, where she spoke on the law surrounding invisible vehicles.
